Monique Woodby has a passion for providing her clients with support and

Monique Woodby is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and
National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Masters of Mental Health Counseling
Degree. She has experience working with diverse populations of individuals,
families, and couples in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient,
outpatient and community based services.

Monique’s background provides her with the capacity to work with clients in
various multicultural, social and economic environments. She is prepared to work
with clients to develop skills and strategies for resolving conflicts within
themselves and throughout their relationships. She believes in supporting and
building a collaborative relationship that empowers clients to make lifestyle
changes well beyond therapy. Monique encourages clients to discuss their feelings,
behaviors and mindset to help them develop insight into themselves and their
personal relationships. She trusts that with therapy the client will gain insight in
achieving their full potential in their personal growth and relationships.

Monique has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals,
couples and families in the areas of depression, anxiety, bipolar, stress
management, communication skills, substance abuse and self-esteem. She is
eclectic in her therapy approach and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Person Centered Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and
Mindfulness Relaxation.
